"[During] Susanne Sundfør's May 2018 live dates (...), the 2017 studio set's songs were reframed to become springing-off points for "Reincarnation"'s country swing to be ramped up, a Santo & Johnny pedal steel coda pointing at heaven; "Bedtime Story"'s clarinet suggests klezmer; a four-minute double bass solo ends "Undercover". Yet Sundfør's pliant voice still dominates. In "Undercover" she sings as if filling a verdant valley, and she encompasses "Mountaineers"' wider terrain".
