"Even if you're a Spice Girls megafan, or at least enjoy subjecting yourself to a heaping dose of `90s pop nostalgia, this deluxe package is probably not going to present anyone with anything they needed to hear. Truly, the most positive thing we can say about this specific package - outside of the quality of the music, that is - is that it presents us with a great excuse to re-examine how cool the meteoric rise of the Spice Girls was. In a rapidly changing and uncertain world, the Spice Girls felt like the most radically positive, emotionally-intelligent pop group that we could have asked for. After all, shouldn't we all heed the call to spice up our lives?".
