"As a guitarist, Vito doesn't like to play one note if five will do. His slide never seems to stay in one spot on the fretboard for long. Listeners won't find any familiar Elmore James licks here, although Vito does seem to tak a few cues from Aussie guitar slinger Dave Hole ... 'Mojo On My Side' is certainly not an album for blues purists. However, listeners who aren't opposed to a little showboating will enjoy hearing an experienced guitarist's take on the blues".
