"This light and heady score is otherwise brilliantly caught, from the casting of the four characters to the exceptional continuo work, led by Suzuki himself ... Will we soon hear the remaining secular cantatas?".

"Masaki Suzuki's recording enters a field already populated with at least nine previous versions [Was mir behagt]. The chief distinction between his and the rest lies in its treatment foremost as a drama as opposed to a cantata. Recitatives and arias are handled with flexibility and generous application of appoggiaturas while the arias are, by and large, pleasingly ornamented and fervently declaimed ... Suzuki and his équipe achieve all with aplomb, vividly imparting the lively occasional spirit of Bach's score. In summary, a mainly delightful issue".
