Best of friends (engelsk)

In 1988 Karachi, two fourteen-year-old girls, Zahra and Maryam, are a decade into their friendship. As Pakistan’s dictatorship falls and a woman comes to power, the world suddenly seems full of possibilities. In present-day London Zahra and Maryam are still best friends. But when unwelcome ghosts from their shared past re-enter their world, both women find themselves driven to act in ways that will stretch and twist their bond beyond all recognition.
