The instrumentalists, led by Soly at the keyboard, are efficiently eloquent and respond sensitively to the subtleties of Graupner's writing ... The two protagonists are more of a mixed bag ... But these relative shortcomings don't lessen the impact of a score that's definitely worth discovering".
