"Understated, there are no grand gestures here, but plenty of artistry. A proud epitaph".

"Here is Pentangle in original guise (...) on a spree from summer 2008 which saw them draw down the curtian after they'd been granted a Lifetime Achievement award at the previous year's Folk Awards. Made by both Bert Jansch and John Renbourn before their sad passing, the release is a timely dedication to both ... Their core sound remains that tumbling, unplugged roll of folk, jazz and blues which did so much to lay the groundwork for folk rock ... On "Finale" it feels like they're allowing each other unacknowledged space to divert and expand, yet remain within the framework of their signature classics ... Jansch' and Renbourn's (...) acoustic guitar work sparks and parries, one pushing the other to defter licks and runs. Jacqui McShee's vocal remains a shiversome one-of-a-kind ... This is Pentangle as you'd want to remember them".
