Their core sound remains that tumbling, unplugged roll of folk, jazz and blues which did so much to lay the groundwork for folk rock ... On "Finale" it feels like they're allowing each other unacknowledged space to divert and expand, yet remain within the framework of their signature classics ... Jansch' and Renbourn's (...) acoustic guitar work sparks and parries, one pushing the other to defter licks and runs. Jacqui McShee's vocal remains a shiversome one-of-a-kind ...
