"Resonance's two disc set is housed in a three-panel digipack, with a 36-page booklet that includes essays from music journalists Will Friedwald and James Gavin, remembrances from Carl Schroeder and club owner Rosalie Wilson, and interviews with Jimmy Cobb and Vaughan's labelmate Helen Merrill. It's a rich package, but it's a swinging trio, their finely selected repertoire and the Divine One that really make this set sing".

"Vaughan is in exemplary form: loose, imaginative and energized, her late-career tendency toward over-stylization held largely in check. As she settles into her favored and most effective setting, tight with a top-drawer trio-drummer Jimmy Cobb alongside bassist Walter Booker and pianist Carl Schroeder-her relaxed satisfaction shines through ... Though never intended for commercial release, the sound quality across these 22 tracks, spanning close to 90 minutes, is superb".

"This previously unreleased set, Live At Rosy's is a stunning document, originally recorded for the National Public Radio-syndicated radio program Jazz Alive with host Dr. Billy Taylor, some of which has never been aired before ... it's a magnificent recording".
