Die Statik generiert hier freilich die meditative Ruhe eines Stilllebens. Und die Klangwelt ist so bilderreich und filigran gewirkt wie in Saariahos besten Werken. Der Liedzyklus 'True Fire' (2014) ... die ausgewählten (englischen!) texte [sind] zu spröde. Gerald Finleys differenzierte Umsetzung lässt dieses Manko allerdings kaum spüren".
