"It's difficult to pinpoint the exact moment that Biffy Clyro became the best band in Britain ... But here's the thing of it - in terms of ideas, range, songs, playing and execution, today Biffy Clyro are a better band than ever they've been. A Celebration Of Endings delivers on its impossible promise in ways that are towering and relentless".

"'A Celebration Of Endings' is a record of extremes. At one end there's the Bring Me The Horizon-style, trance-driven apocalypse bop 'Instant History'; at the other there's aforementioned metal-meets-Mozart belter 'Cop Syrup'. It's truly a statement for these dumpster fire times, but even if you put aside the lofty notions of rebirth, you'll be left with an album that's just really fucking fun. Let this album into your life and enjoy a blast of optimism. Maybe - just maybe - things are gonna be all right".

"Where A Celebration of Endings excels most is not solely in its compiling of various sobering narratives with catchy or satisfyingly progressive songwriting. It's Biffy's empathizing with people facing the real-world crises outlined in these songs and recognizing the importance of writing melodies anyone struggling can appreciate, all while making each song unique enough so as to come away with a record where the music doesn't repeat itself but instead allows the shouts for change to echo and take priority".
