"Fifth album `For The Recently Found Innocent' finds him on safer territory, renewing his collaboration with Ty Segall. Soaked in the pair's love of acidic garage, White Fence dally with `White Album'-era Beatles riffs (`Wolf Gets Red Faced'), flower power harmonies (`Actor') and boozy piano funk (`Raven On White Cadillac'). Most of the scattershot pastiches hit their targets and we can only salute Presley's variable attempts at an English accent on `Sandra (When The Earth Dies)' and `Arrow Man' - or, as he pronounces it, "//Errow man//" - the scamp".

"For his latest LP, he scrapped bedroom recording for a better studio and brought on his friend (and fellow indie cult hero) Ty Segall as a producer. The result is his finest musings yet. Presley's warbled vocals hearken to Frank Zappa's old, weird L.A. while grappling with his present-day isolation. He lays it all bare on "Fear," singing, "I live in fear of wasting time." The ample guilt Presley purges from his heart and head unfurls into an excellent set of songs that are equally suited for an aimless afternoon drive or a night of serious life contemplation".
