"Humøret hos hovedpersonen er himmelhøjt (af andet end sol og saftevand). Neil Young er snakkesalig og joker til højre og venstre (»Mit navn er Glenn Miller!« ), og det er tydeligt, at han føler sig befriet fra indspilningen af albummet "Tonight's the Night" ... På Roxy spiller Young og co. i stor stil lp'ens følelsesladede numre, præget af død, sorg og savn. Ikke desto mindre huserer hovedpersonen i selskab med sine spillemænd med et drenget overskud, der smitter ikke blot publikum, men også lytteren mere end 40 år senere. Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina, Ben Keith og ikke mindst Nils Lofgren på piano og guitar gør liveudgivelsen til noget unikt. Ingredienserne er blues, rock og country. Det swinger, og det rumler, og indimellem rammer Neil Young i sit særegne sangforedrag en tone på en helt forkert facon. Det er dog hverken første eller sidste gang i karrieren. Og det er fuldstændig lige meget".
