"'The Book' er et gedigent hard rock-album. Hvis man er vild med Rainbow fra 'Down to Earth'-perioden eller Alcatrazz, vil man formentlig synes rigtig godt om 'The Book'. Det bliver aldrig rigtig fantastisk og produktionen kunne være bedre. Men om ikke andet er det også værd at tjekke guitarist Conrado Pesinato. Ham får Bonnet nok heller ikke lov til at beholde for sig selv".
